Hi, I’m Deb, a former corporate leader turned creative chaos-tamer.
After 20 years in insurance and banking, I swapped the boardroom for a needle and thread and built a business around vintage skills, sustainable workshops, and helping people rediscover the joy of making.
I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed by to-do lists, tech tangles, and the pressure to do it all yourself. I also know the magic that happens when creative business owners stop suffering in silence and start supporting each other.
That’s why I built The Swap Shop, a barter-based membership where creatives trade skills, cheer each other on, and actually get stuff done.
No hustle culture. No guru vibes. Just a big-hearted community of clever humans working together to grow sustainable businesses (and have a few laughs along the way).
I believe in collaboration over competition, progress over perfection, and finding the fun again in the businesses we’ve built from scratch.

The Swap Shop has been designed to GIVE YOU TIME BACK, with the ability to swap out the tasks that drain you and your time reserves. The online sessions will be 60 minutes and the facebook group will be open 24/7 to give you opportunity to connect when you have the time and energy
